Texas Wesleyan accepts applications on a “rolling admission” basis. You will want to submit your completed application as soon as possible for an opportunity of a scholarship. When an admission decision is made, we will send you a scholarship offer, if eligible.
All of the following information must be completed and submitted before an admission decision can be made.

Applicants seeking regular admission must meet the following requirements:
2.5 weighted high school GPA
19 ACT composite score or 920 SAT combined score in critical reading and math only
Top 50% ranking in the senior class
Students not meeting any or all of the above criteria are subject to review by the Committee on Admission, Scholarships and Financial Aid for a final decision regarding admission. Applicants who are referred to the committee may be requested to submit the following:

General Requirements
A student will be considered for admission to the university when his/her file is complete with the following credentials:
A completed application for admission along with the non-refundable $20 application fee.
An official copy of the high school transcript or GED scores, or all college transcripts (transfers).
ACT or SAT scores
Applicants must graduate from a state-accredited high school or complete the equivalent of a high school education, and must be in good standing both academically and socially. Graduates with an AAS degree are qualified for entry-level criminal justice positions among local, county, and state agencies. In order to receive Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) certification, students must also attend a basic law enforcement academy. Please check with the coordinator regarding the availability of the Texas Peace Officer Academic Licensing Academy (TPOALA).
