Admission Requirements Criminal justice from Chippewa Valley Technical College
This program and/or the courses in it are limited to sworn police officers assigned by their department under the approval of the Department of Justice. Exceptions are granted to accept civilians under the following conditions:
student must submit proof of a minimum of 60 postsecondary semester credits or the Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement Associate Degree; student must be interviewed by the Academy Advisory Committee; student must submit a Wisconsin criminal history record request (DJLE250); upon acceptance, student must have medical exam (at his/her expense within the previous 6 months); controlled substance testing (at student’s expense within 60 days prior to start date); student must have a valid driver’s license; student must have no felony or violent domestic misdemeanor convictions.
