Applying to Luther College
A completed application for undergraduate admission - Apply online, complete a paper form or contact our Entrance Counsellor at the address below.
• If applying online, go to www.uregina.ca/admissions. Follow the prompts to set up a temporary password and ID. A valid e-mail address and credit card number are required. Select LUTHER as your CAMPUS and ARTS as the FACULTY.
• If completing the paper form, check off LUTHER under FACULTYAND PROGRAM DETAILS (Question 7), write LUTHER ARTS in the FIRST CHOICE FACULTY and write PRE-JOURNALISM under MAJOR/SPECIALIZATION.
A non-refundable $60 Canadian application fee - Cheques or money orders may be mailed along with the application; Visa or MasterCard payment may be made on the application form. Those applying online must use Visa or MasterCard.
Transcripts
• Students applying from high school must supply one original copy of their high school transcript. Students attending a Saskatchewan high school are encouraged to have their transcript transmitted electronically by Saskatchewan Learning.
• Students who have completed post-secondary education must arrange for two official transcripts to be sent directly to U of R Admissions.

Early Conditional Acceptance
Students who expect to graduate from Grade 12 have until June 15 to apply for early conditional admission. Early application for admission is recommended as students can register earlier, ensuring the best selection of courses and scholarship opportunities. Students may apply any time after they have their final Grade 11 marks.
Students must submit to the Admissions Office: a completed application, the application fee, an official transcript or a school-certified copy of an official transcript (with school seal or signature), and a list of the courses they are taking in Grade 12. Final admission requirements must still be satisfied to gain entrance. Contact our Entrance Counsellor at 1-800-LUTHER-U for more details.
High School Requirements
Applicants must achieve Saskatchewan Secondary Level or Adult 12 standing. The following is a list of Saskatchewan high school requirements* for students entering the Pre-Journalism program through Luther Arts.
Arts

Applying to the School of Journalism
Applicants must submit an application, a resumé, a portfolio of writing and/or reference letters (and two official transcripts if students have attended another institution). In addition to the academic requirements, the selection process includes an exam and interview. Applicants must have an above-average proficiency in
English. Applications must be received by January 31 for Fall admission to the School of Journalism.
